7s over 3s
Affects EVERYTHING we do.
7s over 3s - Affects EVERYTHING we do.
Good morning fam. It is Tuesday morning and I am really pumped about our flying formation this morning. So today I want to talk about the idea of sevens over threes, sevens over threes. So for those of us, those of us who know football, The football world, you, you may have heard this phrase before. It's the idea of going for sevens, which are touchdowns over threes, which are field goals.
Right. Uh, and so what does that mean for us in the hacking music community? You know, work maybe works for football, but how, how does it apply to us in an actionable way? And to me, as I've shared this with our artists and our team members, it's the idea of preparing, preparing. And having expectations. So as you prepare, you prepare differently for sevens, right?
Then you will for threes. Threes, you can just say, well, we didn't get it. Let's just kick the field goal. Okay, great. But when you go for sevens, you prepare differently, you communicate differently, you practice differently, you prepare differently, and you work differently. You put teams together differently, right?
If I'm Tom Brady. And I'm going for sevens. I sure as heck know who my wide receivers are running backs are. So as artists and entrepreneurs, if we're going for sevens over threes, we're sure as heck going to know who's doing our e commerce, who's our manager, who's bandleader, you know, whatever, whatever your team looks like, all our teams look differently and they should look different, right?
We're going for seven. So we're going to think about our teams differently. We're going to think about how we're communicating differently. We're going to think about. Our goals and our expectations, just a very different headspace. So as our community is really built for the top 2 percent of artists and entrepreneurs, there's a lot of people that go for threes and threes are fine for them, right?
Maybe they get lucky. Maybe they win a contest, you know, Oh, we got a field goal. Let's, let's celebrate that. And that's. Hey, that's good. Go do that for the hockey music community and our artists who are expecting more out of themselves and expecting more out of their music and expecting more out of their career.
They behave differently, right? So this is what I want to give you today to think about a lens to see your day through to see a week through to see your month and your years through sevens over threes. I want you to prepare with three different expectations. Okay, action, accountability, and achievement, action, accountability, and achievement.
You're going to act differently, you're going to have accountability, that's going to be processed differently, and your achievement is going to be different because you're going for sevens over threes. Alright y'all, I'm out. We'll see you inside the community. Today we've got the Supervisor Sync Community.
We're going to be talking about how on a recent project we saved a filmmaker over 200, 000. Um, And why they love us because of that. Okay. We'll see you guys soon.
